Well, I can't complain, things are actually getting better, but it's been baby steps.

Talked to my counselor, got my schedule all figured out.

1--Lennington  French 3AC

2--Loo  Chemistry

3--Woodford  Algebra 3/4 AC

4--Thompson  Jewelry and Design 1

5--Richards  American Studies

6--Klaver?   Accelerated English 11

And I have a meeting on Monday morning before registration about my possible working from home 4 days a week or more, and only having to go into my office one day a week for 2 or 3 hours. 

It'll be so nice to trade up high-waisted skirts and heels for pajama pants and bare feet.

Up north this weekend.

Dog sitting next week.

Then a mystery.

Crap.

I'm not ready to go back to school.

I don't want to see ANYBODY.

I'd rather head-butt Mr. Concrete than have to put up with any more auxiliary bullshit. 

I still do not have a computer and have been doing everything from other people's houses or work.

Oh, and work.  I work. 

In an office. 

In ironed clothes and skirts and heels and wearing my glasses constantly and top collar buttons buttoned. 

Phew. 

And I have reason to believe that the Chinese American culture is beginning to submiss to the pessimism of Midwestern Modern American culture.  How do I know this?  My last two fortunes have been particularly uninspiring--

"If you think no one cares if you are alive, try missing a couple of car payments."

and

"Often those who have power end up becoming deaf-mutes."
